Avoiding your daughter in university is something a lecturer may have to do - but for a third year mature student to be in the same university as her 'Fresher Chemist' daughter, is probably not as common!

That is what happened recently at Cardiff University where McLays' HR & Credit Control Manager, Wendy Cutlan, experienced bumping into her daughter, Morgan, around Campus during her final year!
Wendy managed to juggle her role at McLays, running the family home, moved two children into their respective Halls, become a Student Mentor and Course Rep PLUS still found time to sit, and pass, her Bsc (Hons) in Social Science, with a very respectable 2:1.
Cardiff University chose Wendy to write a testimonial for their Choices prospectus to help encourage more mature students to enter higher education via their Access course as Wendy originally did four years ago.
In the article, Wendy thanks her colleagues at McLays for the sponsorship and support provided during the last three years, and is looking forward to a long overdue rest, following completion of her Dissertation, research, assignments and exams!
Wendy would also like to acknowledge, McLays Managing Director, Ken Vaughan for supporting her erratic working hours, with particular thanks to Bethan Miles, for her invaluable help in Accounts during this period.
