McLays employees (and brothers), Mark and Gareth Vaughan, were two of the senior members of the Channel Coast Surf Club who recently took the top award at the Wilkinson Sword Welsh Interclubs 2014 championships.
The trophy, which has been running since 1980, was a closely contested event, with Channel Coast pipping the 2nd place team by just 25 points - in horse racing terms by a nose!
The trophy, a full size sword, stands menacingly in the boardroom at McLays, who over the years have been proud to support Welsh surfing at both club and international levels.
