First Minister for Wales, Mark Drakeford, announced that Wales will go into a national lockdown from 6pm Friday 23rd October until Monday 9th November.
McLays will continue to operate as normal during this period as we support many essential large-scale UK organisations with postal and digital customer communications, and since the start of COVID-19, providing PPE equipment and packs.
We already have in place a number of measures to ensure the welfare of our employees which include:
• Providing equipment to allow employees to work from home if their role allows them to do so
• Regular communications to all staff on any changes that impact them
• Frequent calls to staff working from home to check on their wellbeing
• Social distancing where it is necessary for an employee to be present on site
• Increased cleansing routines
Above all, McLays follow the government guidelines and how that affects its staff, clients and business.
